Our Story

Committed to Being Animal Health Guardians

In 2018, Harry He, core founder of ITGen, adopted a Labrador Retriever. Before long, the dog fell suddenly unwell. Despite visiting multiple vets, a clear diagnosis remained elusive due to limited testing capabilities at the time.

This experience left Harry — who holds a background in pharmaceutical sciences — both heartbroken and frustrated. More importantly, it sharpened his awareness of a critical gap in China's pet healthcare testing sector.

Driven by this concern, Harry gathered with fellow co-founders, including Sam Wang (also a pharmaceutical sciences graduate), for late-night discussions: "With our professional expertise, why can't we leverage our skills to overcome the challenges in pet health testing?"

This idea quickly gained unanimous agreement, and thus ITGen was born. From seeking answers for his own dog to safeguarding the health of countless furry companions nationwide, ITGen has always stood by its original mission: to deliver love through professionalism, ensuring every pet receives timely, science-backed healthcare protection.
